Cedar One Property Management is helping to grow the upcoming Park Drive Development in Weirton, WV!

A significant investment into Weirton -- the mixed-use Park Drive Development -- is on schedule to be finished by the end of the year.

A group of developers purchased the ground more than a decade ago with this type of reality in mind.

"We're in a great location,” investor Eric Frankovitch said. “We're very close to the airport. From here, you can get there in like 20 minutes. We’re close to downtown Pittsburgh. It's a perfect spot. Weirton has always had a low crime rate, property has been affordable, it’s a great place to raise a family, and we think it has a lot of potential."

 It's the type of development more often found in larger cities.

"It'll comprise of 16 executive-style apartments and 17,000 square feet of commercial space, retail space, and restaurant space on the main floor," said Joseph Luckino from Cedar One Realty.

Apartments will be a mix of different styles and room sizes, offering living space that stands out in the area.

"For people that are young executives that want a place with low maintenance, no grass to cut, you have a turf yard to walk your dog, pets,” Luckino said. “For retirement couples that want to downsize and don’t want the maintenance of their home, it'll be a great location."

That turf yard is next to some other amenities.

“What we really like about this is the quad we're standing next to. We have a fireplace, water fountain, and green space. Something a little different that we don't have anywhere else in the area really," Frankovitch said.

Cedar One is in the process of trying to get tenants into the new Park Drive Development."
